5 cups flour (hard)
15g. fresh yeast or 1.5 tsp dry yeast
2 cups water (lukewarm)
1 teaspoon salt

Light the candle and place it on a candlestick (or empty glass) next to the area where you will prepare the Prosforo. In half a cup of water , dissolve the yeast well. In a bowl add the flour and salt, clearing some space in the middle with our hand where we add the dissolved yeast and the remaining water. Knead well – you can add some more water or flour depending on whether the dough is firm or sparse. Take two tins which you have flour them well, divide the dough in two equal parts in the shape of a ball (2 balls) and put them into the tins. Flour the stamp and press it firmly over the dough to achieve the mark on it. Lift up on one side to allow air and then the rest of it. Finally, pierce with a toothpick at 12 points where intersecting the lines of the stamp . Wrap with a clean cloth the tins and leave them in a warm place until the dough rises. When ready, bake at 220 C for 40 minutes.

Please accept them as the sacrifice of Abel, the glorification of the Shepherds, the Magi gifts, the tears of Peter, and the repentance of the thief. And may be worthy to offer you these always.
